Childhood Trauma

There are so many parts of our childhood that we might carry with us into adulthood in ways that are not feeling good. Too often, our young selves get stuck having to cope with something difficult without enough support from an attuned and loving caregiver. When this happens, we do our very best with what we have at the time and come up with coping strategies to get through. Sometimes these coping strategies get in the way of the life and relationships we want when we are adults.

You might be struggling with intrusive memories, you might have emotions that you need space to process, you might have physical pain in your body that doesn’t make sense, you might have developed a tendency to go numb, or you might find that you are constantly overwhelmed. It does not need to stay this way. Healing is absolutely possible and you absolutely deserve the time and space to do it.

Helping people heal childhood pain is one of my deepest callings. I would be honored join you in this work.
