Laura Fine Therapy
for Individuals and Relationships
Polyamory/Open Relationships
I believe that couples can have healthy, happy, secure non-monogamous relationships. These can look many different ways. Often, couples benefit from support in figuring out some of the complicated emotional issues that arise when negotiating an open relationship. Perhaps you have been monogamous and are considering opening the relationship. I can help you navigate some of the difficult conversations and emotions that often come up during this process. You and your partner might need help negotiating what boundaries work best for you. Jealousy, anxiety, and fear can suddenly pop up when a relationship becomes non-monogamous.
Other issues related to being in a non-traditional relationship might be coming up, too. Maybe there is difficulty because of tension related to one of your other partners that we can help resolve. Possibly, you and your partner have always been non-monogamous and your issues have nothing to do with this arrangement, but you have found that other couples therapists seem like they aren’t supportive.
I can make space for these conversations and help you develop the loving, trusting partnership you are wanting.
